Typical casino-size tables measure 6-7ft wide with seating for 5-7 players.
What size blackjack table should I buy?

Can children attend a private casino night?
Yes, as long as no real-money gambling occurs and it remains a private event.
What is the difference between felt and speed cloth?
Standard felt is softer and cheaper. Speed cloth is smoother, faster, and more durable, often used in professional casinos.
Do I need special equipment to run blackjack?
A simple layout, chips, cards and a shoe are enough for casual games.
Do I need a dealer shoe for blackjack?
A dealer shoe is optional but recommended for multi-deck play. It improves dealing consistency and reduces card exposure.
How many players can sit at a blackjack table?
Most home tables seat 5 to 7 players. Casino tables normally provide 7 player positions.
Can I buy casino-grade blackjack tables?
Yes. Several UK suppliers sell casino-spec tables with premium felt, reinforced frames, and high-end finishes.

Portable tables often need basic leg assembly. Casino-grade tables usually arrive fully pre-assembled.
What is a blackjack layout?
A layout is the printed playing surface that includes betting circles and rules. It can be replaced or customised.
How long does a blackjack table last?
Home-use tables often last 5 to 10 years. Casino-grade tables can last decades with occasional felt replacement.
Can I build my own blackjack table?
Yes. DIY builds are common using MDF or plywood, foam rails, felt, and folding or fixed legs.
How much space do I need?
Allow at least 2 metres of movement space behind every seated position for comfort and access.
What accessories do I need?
Common accessories include cards, chips, dealer shoe, discard tray, cut card, and layout.
Can children use blackjack tables?
The table is safe as an object, but gambling is for adults only. Children can use the table for non-betting card games.
What is the best felt colour?
Green is traditional. Blue, red, and black felts are also common and offer similar performance.
Can I customise the felt?
Yes. Many suppliers offer custom layouts with personalised text, colours, and branding.
Are LED blackjack tables worth it?
LED lighting is mainly cosmetic. It adds ambience but does not change gameplay.
What is a blackjack table made from?
Most tables are built from MDF or plywood with foam padding, vinyl rails, and polyester or wool-blend felt.
Do I need special chairs?

Home tables start at around £150. Casino-grade tables range from £500 to over £2,000.
What is a blackjack table topper?

How do I replace the felt?
Remove the old felt, apply spray adhesive, and smooth the new felt from the centre outward to avoid wrinkles.

Popular versions include Classic Blackjack, European Blackjack, Spanish 21, and Blackjack Switch.
Do I need chip denominations?
Using multiple chip colours helps. Typical values are £1, £5, £25, and £100.

Where can I buy a blackjack table in the UK?
Suppliers include specialist gaming retailers, online marketplaces, and commercial casino equipment providers.

How ratings work on this site

How do I rate a product?

Click the star display beneath the product title. A popup will appear where you can select a rating from 1 to 5 stars. Your rating is saved immediately.

Do I need an account to leave a rating?

No. You can rate products as a guest without registering. We use a cookie to keep track of your ratings across visits.

Can I change my rating after submitting it?

Yes, but only within 60 minutes of your original rating. After that the rating is locked. If you are within the window, click the stars on the product page and select a new value.

How many products can I rate?

Registered users can rate an unlimited number of products. Guest users can rate up to 5 products per day.

What does the rating score shown on a product page mean?

The score is an average of all user ratings on a scale of 1 to 5. When a product has fewer than 4 ratings the score is shown as a weighted average, which blends real ratings with a neutral baseline score to avoid misleading extremes from a single data point.

Why does a product show a "weighted" rating?

When a product has fewer than 4 ratings, a single very high or very low score could give a false impression of quality. We apply a small neutral weighting to keep the displayed average realistic until enough real ratings have been collected.

Once the product reaches 4 or more ratings the weighting is removed and the score reflects the straight average of all user ratings.

Why does the number of ratings shown not match the score exactly?

The count shown always reflects the real number of user ratings. When the weighted average is in effect, the score is calculated using a slightly larger internal count, but we always display the true number of people who have actually rated the product.

Can I see a history of products I have rated?

Yes. If you are signed in, your ratings are listed in the Ratings section of your dashboard, showing the product, your score, and the date you rated it.

What happens to my ratings if I clear my cookies?

Guest ratings are linked to a cookie stored in your browser. If you clear your cookies your ratings will still appear on each product page, but you will no longer be recognised as the person who submitted them, so you will not be able to edit them.

If you have a registered account, your ratings are saved against your account and are unaffected by clearing cookies once you sign back in.

Are ratings moderated?

Ratings are monitored for abuse. We reserve the right to remove ratings that appear to be fraudulent, spam, or submitted in bad faith.
